1ST QUARTERLY RESULTS
JANUARY 1 - MARCH 31, 2023
JANUARY 1 - MARCH 31, 2023
INITIAL NOTES
At the time of this analysis, the survey was only available in its original English form, with 607 responses submitted in total. It is important to note that the project is in its early stages, and is not meant to be 100% representative of the entire fandom. The results taken from these 3 months are solely from those who were:
A) aware of the DEAR Census project, and
B) chose to participate in the survey.
The graphics below are summaries of results from three random survey questions. For viewing purposes, exact percentages were kept to a minimum to not confuse this data with the 2023 final results.
While there is no such thing as a perfect survey, we hope to continue improving and enhancing the DEAR Census project. Survey translations have since been added in Russian, Spanish, and Portuguese, with more to come soon. We also sincerely thank Dears' enthusiasm in the sharing of this project!
The data is reflective of the first 607 responses from January 1 to March 31, 2023.
The countries numbered in the graphic above represent the top 5 countries in which survey participants currently live in.
This data does not accurately display the global distribution of Dears/survey participants. Historically Dimash has a larger presence in Central Asia, China, and Russia, and yet there are more responses from fans who live on the opposite side of the world! While there are many factors affecting this response outcome, we mainly attribute the current survey response behavior to the fact that the DEAR Census project is a new initiative within the fandom.
While this project was first shared via Twitter, we asked participants to select all of the different social media platforms they use when engaging with Dimash-related content and/or the Dear fandom.
No percentages are shown, but we will include them at the conclusion of the survey project.
Of the 607 responses from January 1 to March 31, approximately 1/3 of participants answered "Yes" and 2/3 answered "No".
Considering how Dimash has mostly held concerts in Europe and Asia, we have some lucky Dears!
